Many Doodles keep a healthy weight if on a recommended food, and limited treats. Some dogs, however will need to be kept on a limited diet to keep a healthy weight. This is hard for some families, because they feel it’s a way of “spoiling” their dog by giving them all they want. The person that is keeping the dog in your absence would be required to surrender the dog to me for breeding, health testing, etc. purposes.
